SALUD! BARTENDERS FOR HEALTHCARE

Help your favorite barkeeps stay in prime shaking shape at this charity cocktail event, co-hosted by the United States Bartenders’ Guild, on Mon 21. Top-shelf hooch like Plymouth and Beefeater gins and Herradura tequila will feature in drinks devised by a squad of all-star booze slingers: Lynnette Marrero and Jim Kearns (Peels), Jason Littrell (Death & Company), Marshall Altier (1534) and others will be trading turns behind the stick.

Cost of entry buys unlimited drinks, snacks from Chefs Preston and Ginger Madsen (corn dogs; lamb sliders) and Stinky Bklyn cheese, plus a performance from folk-rock trio the Crooners. Tickets are just $40 and all proceeds benefit career bartenders in need of health insurance.

Freemans, Freeman Alley off Rivington St, between Bowery and Chrystie St; second floor.

Please Drink Responsibly
